Always come prepared for DUSTY, MUDDY and/or RAINY trail conditions. Idaho weather can change by the hour. Please ensure all participants are aware of these conditions and prepared for a variety of extreme environments.
Considering the distance and duration of this tour, breakdowns are commonplace. Most breakdowns can be avoided if proper vehicle maintenance is done prior to hitting the trail. We recommend that all participants have their equipment fully fueled and maintained prior to departure. Flat tires and broken CVT belts constitute the majority of trail delays. Our guides will make every effort to assist with trail repairs when requested. Should a vehicle need towed or transported off the trail, we will make every effort to assist to the extent that resources are available. In some cases, trail breakdowns may cause the tour to terminate immediately, as our guides cannot continue the tour with a vehicle or person left on the side of the trail.
CARRYING OF AUXILIARY FUEL TANKS IS NOT PERMITTED!
Fuel for your return trip is available on site at Lakeside Lodge. You will be required at your own expense to fill your tank at Lakeside before our return trip.
Lakeside Lodge is a full-service hotel, campground, restaurant, bar and marina. 95 octane ethanol free fuel is available at the pump. Credit cards can be taken at the pump or cash in their office. Prices for fuel are always fair and competitive with local fuel stations for this high grade of fuel.
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation sells both Idaho resident and non-resident OHV registrations online. Stickers will be mailed to you after purchase. Should your scheduled trip not allow enough time to receive them in the mail simply keep proof of purchase on your person. We recommend a screenshot or printed out receipt showing your purchase.

"Absolutely love the guided tours in UTVs from Idaho Dunes RV to Island Park. We have done it for a couple years now and always enjoy it. You get to meet other great people on the tours and see other beautiful parts of Idaho. Also, enjoy having lunch in Island Park on the patio and taking in the breathtaking views of the lake. Definitely worth doing."

"We have done the Island Park tour twice now. Our first trip we rented a side by side. Our second trip we took our own side by side, took our 11 and 13 year old girls and they loved it. It’s so nice to have someone leading and someone following behind to ensure no one gets lost or has issues. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great time. The scenery is awesome the trails are accommodating and fun for all skill levels. Excited to book our trip for the next season!"
